Adopt a Tree is a Rotary District 9675 project. The launch has been funded by the National Australia Day Council however this project will be ongoing. The aim of the project is to help the regeneration of the areas of bushland that have been devastated by the fires of 2019-20 and other areas identified as the project develops.

The idea is too  'Adopt A Tree' for a cost of $5. Once the tree (may also be a plant or shrub depending on the requirements of the area being regenerated) is adopted you will receive an adoption certificate and be kept in touch with the progress of the plant after planting.

Planting will take place around April/May under the direction of Landcare. You will have the option of joining in the planting process if you are interested. This also aims to help areas struggling due to the bushfires, floods and COVID 19. By visiting the are we will be injecting some much need funds. It will also be a fun experience and one of fellowship. So get involved!

In addition, we will be funding scholarships for Smith Family children to attend Rotary Youth Programs.
