Anzac Day

For many years the Rotary Club of Dapto has attended the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Dapto Railway Station. We take part in the ceremony and lay a wreath.

 

After the Dawn Service we serve a free breakfast to members of the Dapto Port Kembla RSL Club in their club house opposite the railway.

 

We start before dawn on 25 April each year, cooking sausages, bacon and eggs. Many people attend with their families and enjoy mixing together to remember those who fought for our way of life.

 

The food for the breakfast is paid for by a donation from Hansen & Cole.

 

This is a great tradition and community activity that we enjoy and are proud to provide.
