Awards and sponsorship of our local schools

A Rotary Award for Service is presented to a student at each of the schools in our area who displays service to the school community. Rotarians present these awards at the school presentation days.
 
A voucher:
  • Year 12, Dapto High School
  • End-of-year, Kanahooka High School
 
Also a trophy, certificate and name on a perpetual trophy is presented at the end-of-year presentation days:
  • Dapto Public School
  • Hayes Park Public School
  • Koonawarra Public School
  • Lakelands Public School
  • Mount Brown Public School
  • St John’s Catholic Primary School.
Sponsorship of other school events

Rotarians also attend competition days between schools and present trophies for:
  • Debating: Dapto High School versus Kanahooka High School
  • Public Speaking Competition: between schools in the DLC (Dapto Learning Community) – public primary schools in our area.
