Run Against Violence (RAV) is a volunteer-based association that uses running and other sporting activities to engage the community in preventing family violence.

Funds raised through RAV support the training of facilitators for the Love Bites program, managed by the National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN). Love Bites is delivered to young people and focuses on building respectful relationships—an essential step in breaking the cycle of domestic and family violence (DFV).

In the Illawarra, Rotary Clubs, health services, and local agencies are working together on projects that raise awareness and help prevent DFV in our community.
