Rotary International now has a new area of focus: supporting the environment. More than $18 million in grant funding has been allocated to environment-related projects over the past five years. Creating a distinct area of focus to support the environment will give Rotary members even more ways to bring about positive change in the world and increase our impact.

The Rotary Club of Dapto has responded to this challenge by initiating a number of projects:
  • The Sunday Enviro & Coffee group
  • The Graffiti project
  • Maintaining and further developing Don's Farm
  • Working with Dapto High School we planted 60 trees in Diamond Brothers Reserve to mark our 60 year anniversary in 2020
  • In 2023 we have lined a walkway with native trees in Diamond Brothers Reserve as part of the Queen's Jubilee Project.
All of these projects are focussed on improving our local environment. You don't have to be a member to join us just check out our calendar to see what we are up to or contact us.
